In October of 2006, the Lord provided a way for me (Tim) to go on a mission trip to the country of India. Through the help of Pastor Elvis Sneathern (pastor of Cornerstone Baptist Church, Melburne, AR), and Dan Cash (a Christian car dealer in Orlando, FL), this trip changed my life. I came back burdened to help support Dr. Matthew Henry, the national pastor in India that I knew already. I was amazed at the spiritual hunger of the people in those Baptist churches. I was also amazed at the reception to the Gospel. Another situation that I found so incredible was that for a national pastor starting a new work, it only took about $50 to $60 US dollars per month to support that national pastor's full time needs! I came back and was able with the Lord's help to raise about seven more supporting churches for the works there.
In January of 2008, the Lord sent me back to India, through the support of an anonymous member of that same Cornerstone Baptist Church. The Lord has greatly used these trips to keep me burdened for foreign missions. The 10/40 window of the world has the most people groups without the Gospel. We must be praying for souls and laborers as God has continued to keep this window of opportunity open.
