This trip was my first time to go with Dr. Wilson on one of his medical mission trips. I had no idea that the population of Karachi, Pakistan was 16 million, which is the 6th largest in the world! It was also this trip that caused me to learn more about praying, since it had also been called “the most dangerous country in the world”! I really think this may be an exaggeration, since all of the folks we met were quite friendly.
Bro. Simon Jacob is the national pastor that we support in Pakistan.. He has been there for about 10 years. During 9/11, he and his family had to return to the states because it did get dangerous at that time. When he returned about a year and half later, all of the church members were still faithful, including a few extras. The Lord gave many open doors for us to preach, disciple, and encourage during this trip. Bro. Simon is actually in the states right now, and will be returning in the fall. Pray fervently for this family.
